Private Pay Home Care in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea

Set up and paid for by the household itself, hour by hour, with the figure spoken aloud in the first few minutes rather than handed over at the end of an assessment.

What paying directly actually buys

It costs more than the other routes, and it buys two things none of them can. Pace is the first: no process stands between deciding and the first morning. The second is permission to be fussy about who walks in.

That second one is why this agency is organised as it is. A household paying its own money can reasonably insist on meeting the aide, refusing one without justifying it, and keeping the same face for three years. None of that is a concession.

Hours rise and fall as circumstances move, in both directions, settled by a telephone call rather than at a review date.

Everything arranged here is private pay. No eligibility process, no waiting list, and no third party ruling on what a household may have.

The practical consequence is that the family is the client, and the family can change its mind — about hours, days or the aide — with a telephone call.

The money, plainly

Said out loud, and said before anybody comes to the house.

An hourly rate, given early

Said on the first call along with the shortest visit we will book, so nothing lands as a surprise.

Priced by the work, not the label

Sitting with somebody costs less than washing them; running both inside a single visit changes nothing administratively.

No long contract

A week at a time, ended by either side on fair notice.

Adjusted by telephone

More hours after a bad fortnight, fewer once it steadies, paused entirely while family are staying.

Invoiced against real visits

You pay for visits that happened, each with a written note behind it.

The introduction is not billed

No invoice ever carries that first meeting, and nothing gets signed while it is going on.

What we do not handle

  • Forms or claims for any public programme
  • Putting in a long-term care insurance claim on your behalf
  • Applications for veterans' benefits
  • Guidance on money, tax or estates
  • Sending the bill to anybody but the family
  • Any arrangement in which the bill-payer is somebody other than the family organising the care

Ask the figure in the first minute

Sitting through an assessment in your own front room to learn an hourly rate is nonsense. You will have it straight away.
